The 7th District Basketball Program provides boys & girls
ages 6 and up with an opportunity to learn and play the game of basketball. We work with the Hereford Recreation Council, and the Hereford Travel Basketball Program to accommodate players of all skill levels.
PLEASE VIST www.herefordrec.org TO REGISTER ONLINE FOR BASKETBALL. Please note this is new from previous years, as there will be NO MAIL IN REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED.
On October 7th there will be in person registration at Hereford High School from 7:00-8:30.
Clinic: A coed league for 6 & 7 year olds designed to introduce your child to the game of basketball, its rules, and the fundamental skills required. Season runs from the beginning of November through the end of January. Cost is $40 per child.
Ages 8-10: The boys & girls are separated into separate leagues, and they are divided into 2 different age groups (8 & 9-10.) At this age your child will continue building on the foundation established in Clinic. Fundamentals are still stressed, while competing against teams from the other Hereford rec councils. Season runs from the beginning of November through the end of January. Cost is $55 per child
Ages 11+: The older age groups are organized through the Hereford Zone Recreation & Parks Council. Please visit www.herefordrec.org for more information.
Travel Basketball: Provided for both boys & girls ages 7-14 and organized through the Hereford Zone Recreation & Parks Council. Please visit www.herefordrec.org for more information.
Registration: Registration will end on October 7th the only day for in person registration.
