Seventh District Recreation Council Musical Theater/Drama Program
Welcome to the 2012 Summer Musical Theater Camp page. We will continue with two session this summer. Each session will be a compact musical theater production, including singing, dancing, costumes, stage properties, sets, sound, and lighting. We will continue to meet at Hereford High School auditorium. Space is limited, 40 participants per session.
The program is sponsored, in part, through a grant from Baltimore County Council and the Baltimore County Arts and Sciences Commission.
Age group – 8 years through high school. Fee - $250.00 per child per two week session. Registration starts March 1, 2012. Please email Diana Woltereck directly for registration materials;

Schedule - Auditions will be held at Seventh District ES. Tentative dates are Sat. May 5 for Annie, May 12 for Mulan and May 19 for make-up or second round if needed. Times to be announced.
Audition expectations: Reading lines from a script and singing. Singing can be a song or refrain from a favorite song, simple melodies like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Jingle Bells, traditional school songs (My Country tis of Thee, America the Beautiful). Accompaniment will be with Nick Zurowski, music director.

Session II: Mulan, Jr.
Male roles for Mulan, Jr. include: Ancestors Laozi and Hong, Fa Zhou,Mulan's Father, Mushu the dragon, Chi Fu the Chinese Bureaucrat, many villagers and many soldiers.
