Important Information for Parents/Guardians
2025 Registration Update - Operation and equipment costs have been on the rise. For the past 4 years, we have done our best to keep registration fees the same. This year we will be adjusting the registration fees to correlate with surrounding baseball programs. We hope that everyone sees the hard work and dedication given by the Volunteers to run the programs. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. There are local programs available that can help cover youth sports registration fees.
The recreation council is a fully operated through volunteerism. Chairs, coaches, assistant coaches, etc. all perform these duties through a love of the sport, and a love of our district's children. Please keep in mind that during practices and games, our coaches are doing their very best to keep all players challenged, engaged, and most importantly... SAFE. However, it is every parent/guardian's duty to ensure their own child's safety especially those who are not on the team, but are attending for a friend or sibling. Children (players and non-players) should not be left unattended at any time during practices, games, or other league events. Please understand this policy prior to registering your players. This policy is for the safety of all league participants. Some general guidelines:
- Parents/Guardians must stay for all practices/games. No drop-offs unless discussed and cleared with coaches.
- Keep all non-players off of the field and away from dugout/bench areas.
- Keep smaller children behind fencing to avoid being hit with balls.
- Keep an eye on the activities on the field so you can react if a ball is hit in your direction.

Player/Team Assignment
To ensure fair playing time for all participants, team sizes must be limited. Player placement requests will be acknowledged to the extent possible. However, the Council reserves the right to override player placement requests to ensure fair/competitive teams. Based on overall registration numbers between the four programs (5th District, Sparks, Prettyboy, and 7th District), combined teams may be formed with players from more than one recreation council in order to field enough teams in a given age bracket.Field Availability & Scheduling
All practices for 7D teams will be held at 7th District Elementary School. However, season games will be played at 7th District, 5th District, Prettyboy, and Sparks Elementary. T-Ball being the exception - All games are run at 7th District. While practices can continue throughout the regular season, they will need to be coordinated with games in order to avoid conflict. Scheduled games will always override a scheduled practice.
